Signing grant contracts to support applied scientific researches for postgraduate students at IUG

In cooperation with the Palestinian Relief and Development fund – INTERPAL, the Research and Postgraduate Affairs at IUG  celebrated signing contracts to support applied scientific researches for postgraduate students. Signing these grants comes in support of the scientific and research projects taking place in order to enhance the ideas of researchers.

The ceremony, held at the meeting hall at the State College of continuing education and community service, was attended by Prof. Abdelraouf A. Elmanama, vice President of Research and Postgraduate Affairs, engineer Mahmoud Lubad , Director of the INTERPAL institution-Gaza branch- and other specialists.

Prof. A. Elmanama showed his appreciation to the INTERPAL institution for its continuous support for university students in Palestine and praised the quality of services provided to the Palestinian society. He explained that the Committee was formed in cooperation with INTERPAL to support researchers under the supervision of arbitrators to cover all applicants from different specializations.

Engineer Lubbad, said: "Our relationship with the Islamic University is a very special and strong one. We have implemented several projects such as: rehabilitation of researchers, supporting graduates and supporting the electric grid. In addition, he mentioned that INTERPAL’s generous donations comes from their sense of duty towards the researcher’s community.

 

At the end of the ceremony, the researchers and their supervisors were honored.
